Chicken 65

Ingredients:

  • Boneless chicken cubed to bite size: 1kg
  • Marination:
    • Egg 1
    • Curd 3Tbsp
    • Salt as per taste
    • Chilli powder as per taste
    • Vinegar 1Tbsp
    • Soya sauce 1Tbsp
    • Corn flour 2Tbsp
    • Refined flour/Maida 2Tbsp
    • Red food colour: a pinch

Method:

  • Marinate the chicken with all the above ingredients and allow it to remain for a minimum 1-2 hours.
  • Deep fry the chicken pieces.

Additional flavouring/ tempering

  • Heat a few spoons of oil, add in chopped garlic and fry, now add some split green chillies, a few curry leaves, soya sauce(1tsp), vinegar (1tsp), sugar to balance and switch off the flame. Finally add a table spoon of curd and mix well to avoid spluttering of curd. 
  • Toss your fried chicken pieces in the tempered oil and serve hot with rumali roti or rice.

Tips:

  • Never add curd to hot oil as it creates lumps of curd. The curd added at the end gives extra glace to the fried chicken.
