Ingredients:
- Sesame seeds: ½ kg
- Flax seeds: 150 gms
- Jaggery powder: 100 gms
- Peanuts: a handful (roasted, peeled, and crushed)
- Ghee/clarified butter for binding
Method of Preparation:
- Dry roast sesame seeds and flax seeds on medium heat until they splutter.
- Grind the roasted seeds with jaggery powder to obtain a uniform mixture.
- Add crushed peanuts and mix well.
- Add warm ghee to the mixture and roll into balls.
- Laddus are ready to be served!
Tips:
- - Mixture can be prepared and rolled into laddus as and when required.
- Excellent in winters.
- Other nuts like almonds, walnuts, or pumpkin seeds can also be added as crunchy bits.
